Dr. Mark A. Sargent received his undergraduate training at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York, and his medical doctorate from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. He entered active duty in the US Army and received his Residency training in Obstetrics and gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu Hawaii.
He served over 20 years on active and reserve duty in the U.S. Army with assignments at Bitburg (Germany), Ft. Bliss (Texas), Eagle Base (Bosnia) and Ft. Bragg (North Carolina).
Dr. Sargent is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Sargent has been married to his beautiful wife, Tamara, for 22 years and is the father of two children, Chelsea and Courtney. He enjoys an active lifestyle that includes tennis, skiing, boating and traveling.
